Formation of BANGALORE SUNDAY SCHOOL ASSOCIATION (AISSA Bangalore chapter) 699 525 aces

The All India Sunday School Association (AISSA) organized a significant gathering on July 20, 2024, at the CSI East Parade Church. This event marks the formation meeting of the Banglore Sunday School Association (AISSA Bangalore Chapter).

AISSA, a related agency of the National Council of Churches in India (NCCI), is dedicated to working with children and Christian Educators in churches. This gathering brought together children, leaders, teachers, superintendents, and directors of Sunday schools from several denominations, representing a diverse and unified community.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the General Secretary of AISSA, Rev. Dr. T. I. James, Rev. T. Joseph Dasan, the Director of Christian Education in CSI Synod, Rev Dr. Vincent Vinod Kumar, Secretary, CSI KCD, Rev Jijo Abraham, Vicar, East Parede Church, Rev Shalini, CED Director, KCD, Rev Lijo Raphel, AISSA Governing Body Member, Rev Solomon Paul, Rev Ebin KP, Mathew Thomas, Marthoma Diocesan Sunday School Secretary, Sunday School Student representative Raphael Phillip, the governing council members of AISSA and 145 delegates from 45 Churches in Bangalore belong to Knananaya Syrian Church,
Chaldean Syrian Church of the East, Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church, Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church,
Marthoma Syrian Church,
Salvation army, Evangelical Church of India, CSI KCD Tamil, CSI KCD Telugu, CSI KCD, Kannada, CSI KCD, Malayalam, CSI KCD, English , Mizo Presbyterian Church
Baptist Church of Mizoram and TELC, actively Participated. Children, Teachers, Sunday School in charges and Ministers met separately in groups and presented the plan of action. Rev Solomon Paul moderated the session. CSI East Parade Church hosted the program. We express our gratitude to different denominations for their support and participation.
The executive committee of Bangalore Sunday School Association was formed as Rev Dr Vincent Vinod Kumar as the President, Rev Solomon Paul as the Secretary and Mr Reuben Abimelech as the Treasurer. The executive committee met soon after the meeting.
